For Sale: 1970 Quasar D/Sports Racing
"This car was built from plans by Jim Matthews of Indiana from whom I bought it. I think he originally raced it as a CSR with a British Ford engine, then converted it to a DSR with the Suzuki engine. Jim did well in SCCA in the Northern Indiana Region, as well as at the Nationals. There is a story of the DSR Nationals with a race description and race results in the old tabloid-format Autoweek/Competition Press newspaper in 1976.
The car has coil-over suspension, so I believe it is an SR-70B. I do not have a logbook for the car. I don't believe my Quasar has a S/N." Mike (Myron) Boyajian, mboyajian@sbcglobal.net
